Bookmarks

The Bookmarks feature is a typical example of how Steer CMS helps you maintain an efficient workflow.

Use bookmarks to quickly and easily skip to where you need to be. You can add as many bookmarks as you like and manage them in any page within Steer CMS.

To add a bookmark

• Click “Add bookmark”, enter the desired name and click “Save”

Tags and the Tag cloud

Tags are a great way of organising your content in to really concise categories. Tags and Steer’s tag cloud give your readers a list of visual cues to access content irrespective of where it is in your website.

Tags are single words like "AGM", "Linking", or "Blog". Your content can have multiple tags, simply separate tags with a comma. You can also add grouped words such as "Website design", just leave out the comma between the words eg Tags: blog, linking, website design

If you're having trouble thinking of words to use for tags, take a look at the list of popular tags or tag-cloud on your site and see if one fits. By using the same tags that other people are using you'll help create a directory of popular posts throughout your site. Since the tags you create help the entire community find what they're looking for, its a good idea to carefully choose simple but descriptive tags for your posts.
